Umur Peten (born March 9, 1988 in Ankara, Turkey) is a college basketball player from Turkey who plays for Binghamton Bearcats[1] at forward and center positions.

Peten attended Kalaba Anatolien High School where he averaged 12.6 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.8 blocks.
He attended and played with the Middle East Technical University team, which won a league championship last season. Paten shot 63% from field and averaged 6.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in tournament and appeared in 25 games during regular season with 10.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 3.1 steals in 22.6 minutes per game with 51% shot from the floor and 70% from the line.
