{Undefined} (also called Undefined, or Undefined the Game) is a voxel-based sandbox game, developed and published by FreshMountainStudios for Windows. The game joined the Steam early access program[1] in 2021 and will be released on 20 August 2021[2].[3]
Gameplay
Initial Release
In the first early access version, the game provides life-size volumetric voxel planets which the player can explore without any limitations. Players can modify the planet by digging or adding more voxel material to it. Resources can be collected by cutting down vegetation or by digging the planet, which can then be used to craft items or building blocks. The game only provides a few predefined building blocks, and players can free-form their own, hence the name {Undefined}. This free-form system allows players to design their own building parts, workbenches, furniture, and later even vehicle parts.
The game also provides realistic simulations of gravity, heat transfer, and atmospheres.
The game can be played in creative mode and survival mode. In survival mode, the player needs to collect food in order to survive and resources to craft, which is not necessary in creative mode.[4]
Planned
In future updates, the game will improve and enhance the free-form system to provide the possibility to design vehicle parts to create vehicles, aircraft, and spacecraft. There will be more planets, improved physics simulations, electrical networks, pipe networks, farming, enemies, animals, procedurally generated structures, and a more complex survival system.[5][6]
