Deppon[edit]
Deppon,konwn as DEPPON LOGISTICS Co., LTD[1], is a Chinese express company providing logistics and express delivery services, warehousing management and cross-border transportation.
History[edit]
Deppon was founded in September, 1996 starting as an air freight agency and konwn as Cui shi huo yun dai li you xian gong si at that time.
In 2000, Deppon started to unify its company name and opened up its first truck transportation route from Guangzhou to Beijiing the next year.
In November, 2013, Deppon launched express business to compete with another Chinese express giant--SF Express.
Employees&Service point[edit]
As of December 2016, Deppon has over 10000 standardized service points covering 34 province-level administrative regions of China with a workforce exceeding 120,000 employees around the globe.
Deppon express was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on January 16, 2018 and landed on the a-share capital market, referred to as " Debang Shares(in chinese: 德邦股份", with the stock code 603056, and became the first Chinese logistics company with an IPO.[2]
On July 2, 2018, DEPPON LOGISTICS officially changed its name to "DEPPON EXPRESS（德邦快递）"[3].
