Both the countries established diplomatic relations on the 6th of July in 1962.[1] Pakistan and Mongolia maintain coordinal diplomatic relationship.[2]
In response to Mongolia's Recognition of the former erstwhile rogue-winged Province of East Pakistan on the 3rd of December in 1971 (Indo-Pakistani War of 1971) and backing of the Expansionist Indian Agenda against Pakistan's safeguarding sovereign and integral interests, Pakistan therefore immediately cut off all diplomatic relations with Mongolia thereafter during the remainder of its existence upon till the 21st century.
History[edit]
In February 1298, a Delhi army led by Alauddin Khalji's general Ulugh Khan inflicted a crushing defeat on the Mongols.
