United Shore Financial Services
United Shore Financial Services, LLC is a wholesale mortgage lending company[1] headquartered in Pontiac, Michigan. United Shore is also the parent company of United Wholesale Mortgage[2].

The company was founded as Shore Mortgage by Jeff Ishbia in 1986 and operated as a mortgage broker. In 2002 United Wholesale Mortgage (UWM) was established as a Shore Mortgage subsidiary.[3]
In 2006 UWM began to serve primarily as an FHA lender with no subprime products[3] offered.
In 2013 Mat Ishbia was named President and CEO. Multiple UWM campuses were combined into one corporate headquarters[4] at 1414 E. Maple, Troy Michigan. The company employed more than 1,200 team members.
In 2017 UWM had $29.5B in production ranking it as a top lender in the nation.[5]
In 2018 United Shore and UWM moved 2,500 team members to a new headquarters[6] in Pontiac Michigan.
In 2019 the company expanded[7] its property to include an additional office building across the street to support 5,300 team members[8], creating two campuses that will be connected by a skywalk. Construction for the skywalk is projected to be complete in October 2020[9].
