Universa is a cryptocurrency and blockchain platform that allows for the creation of decentralized smart contracts that maintain various states across its network. Universa is unique in that while having its own network, it issued tokens on the Ethereum network as placeholders named "UTNP" tokens to allow for ownership and trading prior to its own network release. As of June 2018, Unviersa has issued its own "UTN" tokens that are used on its native network. Both of these tokens are expected to be traded on popular cryptocurrency exchanges over time; however, only UTNP tokens currently trade and are used to derive the value of the overall ecosystem.
