The University of Computer Studies(Taunggyi) (Burmese: ကွန်ပျူတာ တက္ကသိုလ် (တောင်ကြီး)) is a public university in Taunggyi, Southern Shan State, Myanmar.[1]. It is one of the leading universities in the field of Information Technology and Computer Science in Myanmar. The university, administered by the Ministry of Education, offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Computer Science, Computer Technology and Information Science. The language of instruction at UCS (Taunggyi) is English.
History
The University of Computer Studies (Taunggyi) is situated in the Southern Shan State, Myanmar. The Government Computer College (Taunggyi) was established on August 15, 2000. University of Computer Studies (Taunggyi) was upgraded on January 20, 2007.
Program
University of Computer Studies (Taunggyi) offers a 5-Year Bachelor degree program (Bachelor of Computer Science (B.C.Sc.) and Bachelor of Computer Technology (B.C.Tech.)), a 2-Year Graduate Diploma program (Diploma in Computer Science (D.C.Sc.)) and 2-Year Master's Degree programs in Master of Computer Science and Master of Computer Technology.
