The University of Freiburg Faculty of Engineering (German Technische Fakultät der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg) is the Engineering school of the University of Freiburg . The buildings of the faculty are located in the Technical Campus located in the North-Western part of Freiburg. It's the youngest of the 11 faculties of the University of Freiburg
Education[edit]
The Faculty is organized into 3 main departments:
- Department of Microsystems Engineering ([IMTEK])
- Department of Computer Science (IIF)
- Department of Sustainable Sytems Engineering (INATECH)
The Faculty of Engineering offers four core degree programs:
- Computer Science
- Embedded Systems Engineering
- Sustainable Systems Engineering
- Microsystems Engineering

Campus[edit]
The Faculty has an excellent infrastructure directly on its own campus: short distances, modern technical equipment (including a clean room), extensive e-learning services, its own library and extended opening hours. There are also Studierendenwerk Freiburg dormitories on the Campus where many students live.
