History
The books published with the university press were issued under the name Yayasan Penerbit Universitas Indonesia by 1961 and in the 1970s.[11][12][13] Later the press also usethd e forms Penerbit Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Indonesia Press, and UI Press.[14]
By the mid-1980s, the press had become part of Indonesia's small group of major university presses.[2] In an article on academic publishing by Paul H.
