The University of Okara (UO) (Urdu: جامعہ اوکاڑہ) is a public university located in Renala Khurd, Okara, Punjab, Pakistan.

History

In 2005, Okara campus of the University of Education, Lahore (UE) used to be inaugurated through then Minister of Defence (Pakistan) Rao Sikandar Iqbal. On February 23, 2016, Provincial Assembly of the Punjab exceeded the "University of Okara Bill 2016". Following that, Government of the Punjab issued a notification on April 1, 2016, for the upgradation of Okara campus to the University of Okara.

How is eLearning at UO Okara?

eLearning at UO! The University of Okara has introduced a comprehensive system of eLearning for all departments. More than 400 teachers are actively engaging the 12,000 students in virtual classes through Whatsapp Groups and Skype. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zakria Zakar is personally supervising the eLearning system.

Is there any society at University of Okara?

All the students are hereby directed that they must not handover their Fee to any individual or any person claiming to be part of any society; as there is exists no official society at University of Okara.

What is the venue of the University of Okara admission test?

Venue: Academic Block 1, Univeristy of Okara, Renala Khurd. Material: The candidates are requested to bring one plain sheet (chart paper/censon/scholar), drawing board, led pencil, eraser, sharpner at the time of the admission test.

When is the BFA exam held at University of Okara?

The new closing date is October 28, 2021. The University of Okara has extended the deadline for the submission of applications for Admissions Fall 2021. The new date is October 28, 2021. BFA test is schudeled on 29 October 2020, 10:00 am sharp. Venue: Academic Block 1, Univeristy of Okara, Renala Khurd.
