unix was created at bell labs it was origionally the only operating system it started off as a 12 bit operating system and than became 16 bit unix used different data matrix operations unix was a command line interface(cli) unix was designed to be able to run on any cpu

bsd was another operating system bsd(berkley software distribution) bsd was used in things like the playstation 4 and 5

another intersting concept was the unix wars a war between different unix models bsd won the unix wars the unix wars were a big concept back then they were what led to things like aux

unix also created the more well known linux linux was created in 1993 linux was a powerful and proffesional cli interface linux was also designed to not be picky about hardware now days there are many linux distributions such as ubuntu debian mint manjaro and centos many distros were a modifiable version of linux

windows was also unix windows origionated from msdos which origionanated from IBM pc dos operating systems are an important part of our daily lives without out them computing would be vey hard modern computing depends on operating systems thanks to unix modern computing was made possible!

nowdays 64 bit operating systems are popular windows and linux are even better thanks to 64 bit nowdays most people dont even care about 12 16 and 32 bit but they should modern computing was made possible thanks to them
