Reception
The album was released with average to positive reviews.[citation needed]
Dan Macintosh of CCM gave it a 4 out of 5 stars, stating "Yes, this talented Denver band in part takes on the gun lobby with “Renegades” and various religious right positions on “While Supplies Last,” but there are also just as many enjoyable and enjoyably apolitical tracks on this group’s strong new release, as well."[2]

| Dan Macintosh (CCM) | 4 out of 5 stars |
| Mark Cartwright | 3.5 out of 5 stars |
"The album’s lead single, “So We Sing,” succeeds as perhaps the record’s best example of a pure pop song, extolling the virtues of art as protest while tapping into the defiance that made the band so relatable to young audiences in the 1990s."[3] Josh Matejka praises the lead single, So We Sing.
"This album is Reese Roper's thesis to the American Church" a reviewer says.[4]
"As the coffee soaked into my brain cells, it dawned on me that I don’t deserve such a fine platter of ska tunes." reviewed John Bear of Westword.[5]
Adam P. Newton also praises the album in his review, saying "This is very much a “speaking truth to power” album and I’m totally here for it."[6]
Giving it 3.5 out of 5 stars, Mark Cartwright states; "Having read a little before writing this review and seeing all the Christian band labels thrown around, it did somewhat put me off, but not one to ever judge, listening was always something I was going to do anyway, and for those of the same disposition as me, don’t let the label define what you think, listen to this and enjoy, musically great and lyrically very of the now."[7]
