Christopher Wylie created a program for Cambridge Analytica that influenced the 2016 presidential election and Brexit vote.

Development[edit]
On July 16, 2019, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely wrote a script based on the Facebook–Cambridge Analytica data scandal, with the Russo brothers and Mike Larocca producing and financing the film through AGBO and David Gordon Green in talks to direct the film.[1] On May 5, 2020, Matt Shakman was in talks to direct the film, instead of Gordon Green.[2]
Casting[edit]
On July 16, 2019, principle photography is set to start in 2020.[1]
