Untitled Judo is an upcoming film produced by New Native Pictures and Keshet Studios. It is co-directed by Guy Nattiv and Zar Amir Ebrahimi, who also stars. The project is co-written by Elham Erfani and Nattiv. The project marks the first feature film to be co-directed by an Iranian and an Israeli filmmaker.
Synopsis
Leila (Mandi) is an Iranian female judoka, Leila (Mandi), with her coach Maryam (Ebrahimi) at the Judo World Championship when they receive an ultimatum from the Islamic Republic ordering Leila to fake an injury and lose.[1]

Production
With Guy Nattiv and Zar Amir Ebrahimi as co-directors, the project marks the first feature film to be co-directed by an Iranian and an Israeli filmmaker. It is produced by Adi Ezroni and Mandy Tagger Brockey, alongside Guy Nattiv and Jaime Ray Newman from New Native Pictures.[2]
WestEnd Films acquired international rights in February 2023.[3] Other production companies involved in the project include White Lodge Productions, Maven Pictures, Tale Runners and Sarke Studios. In February 2023, the film was revealed by the Hollywood Reporter to be in post-production.[4]
