Familiar Strangers is the working title of the debut studio album by former His Only Wish frontwoman Nia. Its release has been delayed several times since 2019.
Background
Nia began work on her debut studio album following the release of her third EP "Three" in 2017. Throughout its extended production the album has had various titles, most notably "Dark Poetry", "The Lost Year" and "Familiar Strangers".
The album is believed to be cancelled as no updates regarding its release have been made since 2023.
Singles
"Broken", "In Two", "You Think" and "I Don't Care" were initially released as the album's lead singles between 2019 and 2021. None of these tracks will be included on the album's track list. These singles were instead released as part of an EP, "Starting Over", in 2021.
"Cassette" was released as the album's lead single in 2023.
