On December 3, 2018, Universal Pictures acquired the catalog of Prince’s music for an original movie musical with Sara Scott, Mika Pryce, Jody Gerson, and the entertainment advisor of Prince’s estate Troy Carter will produce the film through Atom Factory.[1]
