Background[edit]
Mugeni Elijah released his single "I Got The Portion" in July 2019, in which he spoke more about his musical gift, which he believes is inherited. Elijah collaborated with producers such as Johannesburg's DJ Lil. Elijah was preparing ahead for the next album [up stirs], on which he talks about his own experiences, despite the fact that he had already taken a long vacation from music. He began publicizing the album's completion on social media in September 2020, and it was released on December 29, 2021.
Composition[edit]
According to Mugeni Elijah, "up stirs" refers to a musician's mental condition. He claims that a lot of things happen in the mind before manifesting in the physical world, and that as a singer, he was obligated to convey his views with his audience.
Recording[edit]
"Scarey Me" was produced by Mugeni Elijah and recorded at Eliyahu Records.
"The Old Me," produced by Mugeni Elijah in collaboration with AB Ghost Productions, was recorded at Eliyahu Records and released in the United States.
