Uryu Nagata (永田 羽竜 Nagata Uryū, born 4 January 1994 in Kawasaki) is a Japanese footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Dhaka Mohammedan in Bangladesh.[2][3] He is also the current captain of the club.[4]
Club career[edit]
Rochedale Rovers[edit]
On 5 March 2016, Uryu made his debut for Rochedale Rovers FC against Peninsula Power FC. On 17 July 2016, he scored his only goal for the club against Ipswich Knights FC.[5]
Gold Coast United[edit]
On 3 February 2018, Uryu scored on his debut match for Gold Coast United FC against Cairns FC during 2018 National Premier Leagues.[6] On 28 April 2018, he scored his second goal against SWQ Thunder FC.[7]
Dhaka Mohammedan[edit]
October 2019, Uryu made his debut for Dhaka Mohammedan against Team BJMC during the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League after being signed by English head coach Christopher Evans(football).[8] On 10 May 2019, He scored his first ever BPL goal in the second leg of the league against the same opponent.[9][10] On 6 July 2019, he scored his second goal against Chittagong Abahani.[11] After successfully completing one season, Uryu was retained by the club for 2019–20 season.[12][13]
