Truck1.eu (formerly Truck1st.com) is an international online classifieds platform specializing in the advertising and trade of commercial vehicles, construction machinery, agricultural equipment, and industrial machinery. Founded in 2003 in Riga, Latvia, the platform connects professional dealers and individual sellers with buyers across Europe and globally.[1][2][3]

History

Truck1 was founded on 15 February 2003 in Riga, Latvia.[1][4] It initially focused on exporting used trucks from Germany.[3]

Between 2005 and 2008, the company rebranded to Truck1.eu and launched regional portals, including Alle-lkw.de and Gruzovik.com.[5] During this period, it expanded beyond trucks into construction, material handling, and agricultural equipment.[3]

By the early 2010s, Truck1 had four European offices and offered the platform in 15 languages.[3] In 2015, the company partnered with dealer groups such as Kleyn Trucks and Gassmann GmbH, as well as dealers of VolvoRenault, MAN, and Mercedes-Benz.[4]

In April 2016, Truck1 acquired Dataexport.eu, a company specializing in vehicle listing data management and distribution.[2][6] At that time, the platform had about 100,000 listings in 21 language versions and 1.5 million monthly visits.[2]

Between 2018 and 2020, Truck1 added 25 regional versions and launched a forestry equipment category.[3]

In 2021–2022, the platform reached 3 million monthly visitors, opened an office in Warsaw, and expanded to 31 language versions.[3]

By 2023, Truck1 reported over 4 million monthly visitors and more than 2,000 active dealers.[3][7][8]

In 2025, the company announced the launch of its first mobile application.[7]
