Usha Sanjay Kakade
[1]Dr. Usha Sanjay Kakade (born 18 February 1976), spouse of Sanjay Dattatraya Kakade (member of parliament representing Maharashtra in Sabha from BJP), is the founder of the USK foundation and Vice Chairman of the real estate and construction entities, Sanjay Kakade Group. She works in the fields of women empowerment, health, education, and child development, among others. A noteworthy achievement is the Urja Forum, which works towards empowering women's social, economic, and educational status with 3,200 members across Pune presently. Apart from providing grants and scholarships, USKF also provides education and training to meritorious students from economically weaker sections.

Born and brought up in Pune, Dr. Usha Kakade's father worked in the construction business.

Dr. Usha Sanjay Kakade and her foundation, the Gravittus foundation (formerly known as USK foundation) envision a society where the marginalised have the means to build and lead lives of dignity with the foundation being their constitutional rights. The USK foundation and USK ventures have adopted from their expertise in being a catalyst for the group's transformation into one of the responsible infrastructural developments. A holistic approach and execution of the vision are ensured through years of involvement with societal agencies like the Pune International Centre (PIC), Pune Advisory Board, and AIESEC. The Gravittus foundation works to achieve this unification. USKF has numerous noteworthy achievements. The Protection from Domestic Violence Program was hosted to raise awareness about the 'Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act 2005', which was attended by a large number of Anganwadi workers. The Change Maker Program was arranged to create awareness about the protection of women from domestic violence, where the Pune Police and the National Service Scheme (NSS) in association with University of Pune conducted a session on self-defence for girls. The BOOKAROO Festival of Children's Literature presented by Sakal Social Foundation in association with USK Foundation was conducted to encourage and help children aged 4-6 years to develop the habit of reading and bring awareness about certain social issues. The Health Check-up Camp for Children hosted for underprivileged children by the USK Foundation with the participation of NGO Deepgriha and Jehangir Hospital on the occasion of Children's Day.
