USTRAA is a range of grooming products for men, under the Indian consumer accessory brand Happily Unmarried. Headquartered in New Delhi, USTRAA was started in 2015 to cater to the niche domestic market of men’s grooming. Launched by Rajat Tuli and Rahul Anand on August 2015, the company has since catered to over 2000 cities in India.[1]

History

Operating in the premium, youth-focused segment of the market, USTRAA has become a key player in the beard grooming category.[2] USTRAA offers its products in various subscription plans to its customers.[3] USTRAA’s major portion of revenue comes through online channels and its e-store.[2]

As per an interview published in 2016, USTRAA products were targeted to reach 20,000 stores by financial year 2018.[1] In an interview published in February 2017, Rajat Tuli projected USTRAA to become a Rs. 500 Crore brand by 2020.[4]

USTRAA offers a wide range of products in categories including -

  • Beard grooming such as beard growth oil, beard wash.
  • Hair care such as gels, wash and cream, shampoos, conditioners and serum.
  • Face and Body care such as shaving cream, body wash, scrub.
  • Skincare such as body lotions and sunscreen.
  • Fragrances, including cologne.

According to USTRAA, all their products are free of parabens and sulphates.[5] [3]

USTRAA is backed by Info Edge (India) Pvt. Ltd.[1][4] and Wipro Consumer Care, a business unit of Wipro enterprises, which bought a minority stake in USTRAA’s parent company Happily Unmarried. [2][6][7][8]
