V-TAC (lighting)

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

V-TAC is an LED lighting brand which first started in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The company became an international brand with presence mainly within the EU and the Middle East.

It was founded in 2009 by two brothers Dinesh & Satish Sajnani, while heading different companies in Dubai and Hong Kong. Dinesh Sajnani, took care of distribution under their company DNS General Trading LLC, while Satish Sajnani took care of procurement under V-TAC Exports Limited in Hong Kong.[1]

During the same year, V-TAC tied-up with an exclusive distributor from Sofia, Bulgaria which later became V-TAC Europe Ltd. for the brand's market in Eastern Europe.

The V-TAC Brand[edit]

V-TAC’s brand is present in 80 countries, mainly within the EU and the Middle East. Besides its global distributors, V-TAC develops its brand in different media by participating in various international lighting trade fairs and building presence in print and social media.

Over the years, V-TAC has participated in international trade shows like Professional Electrician’s Elex Show, Autumn Fair, Spring Fair, IAW International Trade Fair For Retail Promotions and Imports, Middle East Electricity Exhibition, and HKTDC International Lighting Fair.

In late 2017, V-TAC started an in-branding program with Samsung Electronics Ltd. for its new PRO series — a collection of five-year-warranty LED products equipped with LED chips and upgraded components provided by Samsung.[2] During Light + Building 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany, V-TAC had two exhibition booths to represent two of its current major product groups: the aforementioned PRO series and the Essentials series.

V-TAC also constantly built its brand presence on print, having been featured on leading electrical and traders magazines like Electrical Wholesaler, Professional Electrician, and A1 Magazine. V-TAC has also participated on this year’s Big Energy Saving Week — a social media campaign by Energy Saving Trust, Citizens Advice, and the Department for Business, Energy, & Industrial Strategy aiming to help millions of householders struggling with their energy bills.
