V348 Andromedae
V348 Andromedae is a multiple star system in the northern constellation of Andromeda. The primary subsystem is an eclipsing binary of spectral type B9V with an orbital period of approximately 27.7 days.[1] This inner binary is accompanied by a tertiary companion of spectral type B8V in a wide orbit with a period of about 87 years, forming a hierarchical triple star system. Additional distant companions make the overall system sextuple. The system is located at a distance of approximately 1,100 light-years (340 parsecs)[2] from the Solar System, and its combined apparent visual magnitude is 6.77, making it visible to the naked eye under good conditions.[3]
