The VP Choice Awards (abbreviated VPCA) is an awards ceremony organized by Philippine-based publication Village Pipol and its parent company RED Entertainment, Inc.
VPCA acknowledges the people's choices in categories such as Travel, Lifestyle, Technology, Business, and Entertainment.[1]
The first VP Choice Awards (2019) took place at Casino Filipino Manila Bay on January 23, 2020.[2] Subsequent editions were conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic,[3] with the awarding of the second and third VPCA done via Facebook Live. Furthermore, the fourth VPCA returned to a physical event and took place at Glass Garden in Pasig City on March 29, 2023. [4]
Awards mechanics[edit]
The VP Choice Awards incorporates both public preferences and industry experts' insights as part of its judging process. Winners of these awards are selected through a combination of 50% online voting and 50% evaluation by the Panel of Experts and the Village Pipol Editorial Team.[5]
