Vahid Karavelić

Vahid Karavelić (born April 7, 1956) was a general of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Army of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Karavelić is known as one of the war commanders of the 1st Corps of the BiH Army.
He was born in Brezovik near Visoko. Former JNA officer and prisoner of war. During the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, he performed many duties from brigade commander to commander of the First Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1] He is the recipient of the Order of the Golden Coat of Arms with Swords.
