Valery Kharazov (Russian: Валерий Иннокентьевич Харазов, 1918 November 1 Tomsk - 2013 Aug. 2 on Moscow) - TSKP figure.

Biography[edit]

1940 to 1946 worked at aviation factories in Kazan and Moscow. 1945 graduated in absentia Moscow Aviation Institute, engineer. Since 1946 Comma Youth and party worker. 1955 to 1961 worked in Kazakhstan party bodies. 1967 sent to Lithuania and appointed LKP Central Committee second secretary. On behalf of the Central Committee of the CPSU, it controlled the political, social and economic life of Lithuania. Implemented the policy of russification. 1972 after burning R. Kalantai, one of the initiators of the use of force against the demonstrators Kaunas. 1974 Organized a smear campaign in Lithuania against [[Alexander Solzhenitsyn|A. Solzhenitsyn]. 1978 recalled from Lithuania, appointed first deputy chairman of the People's Control Committee of the Russian Federation. Later L. Brezhnev's adviser.

Buried in Trojekurov Cemetery in Moscow.[2]
