Valisure
Valisure is an analytical pharmacy in New Haven, Connecticut. Using proprietary technology, Valisure chemically tests every batch of every medication sold to consumers for composition and dissolution. Valisure’s lab has ISO 17025 accreditation and is DEA and FDA registered.
Through a citizen’s petition, Valisure notified the FDA that its testing revealed that certain lots of the generic blood pressure and heart medication Valsartan were contaminated with dimethylformamide (DMF), a known carcinogen.
In June 2019, Valisure notified the FDA of high levels of NDMA in Ranitidine, which it discovered as a part of routine testing.
