Vamsi Krishna Akella
Vamsi Krishna Akella is an Indian Director and Screenwriter, who works in Telugu Cinema. He made his directorial debut in 2008 with a Horror film film Raksha which was produced by Ram Gopal Varma. He also directed a movie named Jakkanna (2016), which was commercially successful and its Hindi dubbed version has also been hit on YouTube. In 2017 he directed a film called Rakshaka Bhatudu.
Vamsi Krishna has also worked as an Associate writer for many films in K. V. Vijayendra Prasad's team including the upcoming movie RRR(film). Vamsi Krishna Akella's upcoming movie "The Trip" will soon be released on OTT.
Early Film career[edit]
He began his early career as a Ghostwriter for Y.V.S Chowdary’s film Devadas. He worked as an Associate Writer for a 2006 film named Ashok, directed by Surender Reddy. He wrote dialogues for the 2007 film Anumanaspadam, directed by Vamsy.
He worked as a script associator for the films Rakta Charitra and Katha Screenplay Darsakatvam Appalaraju, directed by Ram Gopal Varma. In the next couple of years, he directed two movies, unfortunately, those movies didn't release.
