Vancouver Hebrew Academy
Vancouver Hebrew Academy is a private Orthodox Jewish day school in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Rabbi Don Pacht is the head of the school.[1]
History[edit]
The academy is the only Orthodox Jewish elementary school in Vancouver.[2] Located in the Shannon Park Annex at 1545 West 62nd Avenue in the Marpole neighbourhood, it leases its space on an annual basis from the Vancouver School Board.[3]
In December 2017, three rabbis who teach at the school lost their case before the Tax Court of Canada claiming a tax deduction for teaching students in their private homes as well.[2]
