Vanessa "Carlotta" Guerra (born 16 February 1984[1][2] ) is a Spanish television presenter, pit lane reporter and live events host, specialized in motorsports, fluent in english, french, spanish and italian. Best known for being MotoGP[3] pit lane reporter for Eurosport France[4] and the host of Red Bull Motorsports Inside Pass series. Also known for being the first ever Female Team Manager in Moto2[5][1] World Championship. Hosted the first FIM Women in Motorsports Conference in collaboration with FIA.

Biography[edit]

Born in Lausanne, Switzerland to spanish parents and has a younger brother Yannick Guerra. Raised in Madrid, following a british/ american education (American School of Madrid). Went on to obtain a degree in International Business Management and a Minor in Global Communications at the American University of Paris[1]. Was first exposed to motorsports racing by her younger brother and later joined him and his team in 2008 as a Team Coordinator. In 2009 she began to manage the Holiday Gym Racing team in the World Supersport series. in 2010 she became the first ever female Team Manager in the Moto2 World Championship in its maiden season. in 2012 she joined Forward Racing team as a Press Officer and remained with the them until the end of the 2013 season. 2014 she became a Press Officer for the Repsol Honda Team, with riders Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa.

She began her presenting and reporting career in 2015 for French Eurosport as a pit lane reporter in the MotoGP World Championship (2015-18). Beginning of 2019, she then joined Red Bull Media House as host of the MotoGP dedicated series Inside Pass, a vlog showcasing the "behind the scenes" of the championship on Red Bull Motorsports´s YouTube channel. The online youtube series has currently completed its second season (2019-2020) with a total of 35 episodes so far with Vanessa as both host and Creative Producer of the show.

Collaborations with F1 team Scuderia AlphaTauri[6] on social media as well as written articles collaborations for Red Bulletin Magazine[7] in 2020 as well as hosting a podcast for Red Bull Spain (in spanish) called "Carreras Cruzadas"[8], a series of 5 episodes in which two motorsports athletes are interviewed and share their thoughts with Vanessa. She has also collaborated as consultant and junior producer on the Brad Binder: Becoming 33[9] documentary.

As a live events host she has hosted the first FIM Women in Motorsports Conference[10][11] in collaboration with the FIA in Finland as well as hosted events for renowned brands such as Yamaha Europe, Alpinestars and Tissot[12].
