Vanessa Modely

Vanessa Modely is a model, entrepreneur and public figure engaged in the social, human rights and education sector.

Early life and career[edit]

Born in an aristocratic family, she grew up in a global diplomatic environment. She started working as a model at age 15.[1] . Simultaneously, she follows her academic education at IHEDN (Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale) with a major in business intelligence. She later leads her own Foundation advocating for responsible luxury[2]. She has cooperated with the French government and the "Ministère de l'Économie et des Finances" to enhance French excellence in innovation and met at this time with Emmanuel Macron.

Soon after her encounter with the President of the French National Commission for UNESCO, she is nominated Goodwill Ambassadress for UNESCO. Together with Daniel Janicot, she becomes the President delegate of the "Cercle de la France à l'UNESCO"[3] . The circle decorates and encourages prominent figures coming from diverse sectors including the Economy, Science, Sports and Culture to promote France abroad.

In 2016, she becomes the Ambassadress for Nations of the World for UNESCO[4], an organisation fostering dialogue and discussions between states to promote the values of UNESCO worldwide. The organisation is working together through partnerships with leading figures of the world of sport, politics, culture and economy to make Football join the list of UNESCO's Intangible World Heritage[5]
