Varrio Hawaiian Gardens

Varrio Hawaiian Gardens, also known as Varrio Hate Gang, VHG,[1] are a exclusively Mexican American gang located in Hawaiian Gardens, California. They control all of Hawaiian Gardens and use the Hawaiian Punch mascot as their symbol.[1] They were founded in th 1940s.
Rivals[edit]
VHG has a rivalry with nearby Artesia 13, also known as Chivas Artesia. Which broke away from Artesia 13 in the 1980s
Crimes[edit]
The gang is known for committing hate crimes against African American people, similar to other hate gangs in Los Angeles County, which share a similar hatred against blacks.[1]
In 1999, Virgil Henry III a man from Van Nuys, was beat to death by Latinos, while in a chase on Carson St.[1]
