Varun Kumar Khanna (born September 1, 2004) is an Indian-Singaporean professional wrestler. He currently wrestles on the Southeast Asian independent circuit, regularly performing on Ring of Rebirth, under his shortened name Varun Khanna.

Early life[edit]
Varun Kumar Khanna was born on September 1, 2004 in Singapore. His parents, Deeptha and Dinesh, would meet in college at IIMB.[1][2] The couple would migrate to Singapore getting married in 2001. After Khanna was born, he and his family would move to Berlin, Germany for a year and then to Jakarta, Indonesia for two years. In 2007, Khanna would return to Singapore, and a year later his younger brother Vivek would be born.[3] As a child, Khanna asked his mother for a pirate toy. His mother mistakenly bought him a toy of The Undertaker, thinking he was a pirate, which would kickstart his eventual love for professional wrestling. Khanna would study at the United World College of South East Asia from 2009 to 2017.[4] In 2017, Khanna and family would move to Princeton, New Jersey, where he would attend Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart, graduating in the Class of 2019.[5] Khanna would attend Princeton Day School for a year before moving to Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2020, where he would study at the International School of Amsterdam, graduating in 2023 with an International Baccalaureate Diploma.[6] In July of 2023, Khanna would enlist in the Singapore Armed Forces as a Recruit to serve his national service.
Professional wrestling career[edit]
Ring of Rebirth (2022-present)[edit]
Khanna began his professional wrestling training in June of 2022 at RoR, training under Kenneth Thexeira.[7] After 3 weeks of training, Khanna would debut at RoR: Press Start, earning him the record of the fastest debut in Singapore history, beating the previous record of 4 weeks to debut, held by Dante Chen for nearly a decade.[8][9] Khanna would face Meta, defeating him in just 38 seconds[10], the fastest victory in Singapore history, beating the previous record of 1 minute 48 seconds held by The Horrors (Da Butcherman & Dr. Gore).[11] In August, at RoR: Vice, Khanna negotiated a new contract at RoR, where he had to ability to choose when he wanted to wrestle and was not obligated to perform on any show, admonishing the fans for their "disrespect", revealing that he would be leaving to The Netherlands indefinitely.[12][13] In October at RoR: Halloween, Khanna disclosed that he would return to RoR in December, speaking from Amsterdam. At RoR: Christmas in December, Khanna returned to face Dato Nasir, defeating him in less than a minute. After the match, Khanna stated that he would be leaving RoR once again due to a lack of competition. In February of 2023 at RoR: Bruh Moment, Khanna would speak from Kenya, explaining his absence from the show, while threatening the roster. In April at RoR: Walaowei, Khanna spoke from Hyderabad, India, stating he was not going to return in the near future. In July at RoR: Maximum Chibai, Mr. Geylang, Brother Bhai, The Eurasian Dragon and an unannounced opponent were billed to compete in a fatal fourway to decide the number one contendership for the RoR Championship. Khanna would reveal himself as the mystery opponent returning after 7 months, eventually defeating the other three men, to become the number one contender for the RoR Championship. In September at RoR: Shiok Ah, Khanna would defeat Erfie to win the RoR Championship, his first ever title.
Singapore Pro Wrestling (2022-present)[edit]
While training at RoR, Khanna would simultaneously begin training at SPW in June of 2022 under Andruew Tang and the SPW roster, most notably Danial Alias and Caleb Tan.[7] Khanna would make his SPW debut at x in x, where he would defeat x.
Vietnam Pro Wrestling (2022)[edit]
Khanna and The Eurasian Dragon formed an alliance, and Dragon would challenge then VPW: Openweight Champion, Lê Tyler. In return for Khanna’s assistance, Dragon would grant him the number one contendership for the title.[14] The duo would travel to Ho Chi Minh City, challenging Tyler at VPW: Ultimate Collision in July of 2022.[15] Khanna would earn the record for fastest international appearance by a Singaporean after just 5 weeks of training.[16] During the match, Khanna was attacked by Tyler outside the ring. Dragon was ultimately defeated by Tyler, continuing to strike him after the match, however, Khanna rushed to his aid.
Pro Wrestling Holland (2022-2023)[edit]

Personal life[edit]
Khanna is a Hindu. Ethnically, Khanna is half Tamil and half Punjabi as his mother is Tamil from Chennai, India and his father is Punjabi from Delhi, India.
Khanna regards The Shield as his favorite wrestlers of all time, citing Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins as his professional wrestling inspirations.
Khanna is a life-long supporter of the Indian cricket team and the Delhi Capitals of the IPL.
Khanna is a die-hard superhero fan and at the age of 12, Khanna, he would create his own superhero, Bullet, and begin writing a story about him.[17] Eventually, Khanna would plan out a 4-arc series called, The Bullet Series.[18][19] In September of 2018, at the age of 14, Khanna would publish his first novel, Bullet: The Beginning through Kindle Direct Publishing, where he would publish both a Kindle book and a paperback for each novel, under his initials ‘VKK’.[20][21] In June of 2019, Khanna would publish his second novel, Bullet: The Trinity of Chaos.[22][23] In September of 2020, Khanna published, Bullet: Impeachment Part I, his third novel.[24][25] In May of 2021, at the age of 16, Khanna published, Bullet: Impeachment Part II, his fourth novel.[26][27] In August of 2021, Khanna published Bullet vs Chaos: The Omnibus, a compendium of his four previous novels with some additional content.[28][29] All proceeds of Bullet vs Chaos were donated to UNICEF India.[30][31]
