Varun Sood is an Indian actor, VJ, model, and an athlete known for his participation in several MTV India reality competition shows including a runner-up showing in MTV Splitsvilla season 9. He also contested in MTV Roadies (season 12) and Ace Of Space 1 too. He acted in MTV Big F an anthology series aired on MTV India.
He got his promising acting break in the season 2 of the horror web series Ragini MMS: Returns along Divya Agarwal. He has appeared on few music videos too. He has hosted or supported on further many reality shows including Roadies: Real Heroes and MTV Ace the Quarantine.
Television career[edit]
Varun first time appeared on TV in MTV Roadies X2 in year 2015 where he was eliminated in episode 20. Later in year 2016 he participated in another MTV reality show MTV Splitsvilla Season 9 where he emerged as the first runner-up. Thereafter, he got the opportunity to host a TV show NBA Slam (along Rannvijay Singha). Later the tv show MTV Campus Diaries was also hosted by Varun in 2017. He has also appeared in some TV shows like Troll Police and Ace of Space, Season 1 where he was declared second runner up. He was also appears in Roadies as a Gang Leader in replacement of Raftaar,
Recently in 2021, Varun is participating in the popular show Khatron Ke Khiladi[1] [2] which is being aired on Colors TV where he got himself injured and was rushed to hospital.[3] [4]
Personal life[edit]
Varun comes from an army family and always wanted to join Indian Army. [5] [6] His father is a Brigadier in Indian Army and hence had to study at various army schools of India. He finished schooling from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi and later took admission at Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University and graduated with B. Com degree.
Varun is dating Divya Agarwal since December 2018. Divya herself confirmed[7] their relationship.
