Early Life and Education[edit]
Vasant Prabhakar Borate was born on 09 July 1986 in Maharashtra State, Taluka Haveli, District Pune Moshi to an ordinary farming family. The father is a farmer and the whole family is engaged in agriculture and other occupations. His grandfather Ramchandra Borate was an important figure in shaping the political and social fabric of Moshi village. Borate is highly educated and always aware of social work.
Social Work[edit]
Mr.Vasant Borate started his social service from 2010. The development work done by him has been a topic of constant discussion. Every needy person from the very poor is in touch with Vasant Borate. His work was noticed by various newspapers during the Covid 19 period.[2]
Sunburn Oppose Movement[edit]
In 2017, Sunburn was to be held in Moshi village in Pune, which would have a detrimental effect on the hospitals and old age homes there,Vasant Borate, recognizing the gravity of the situation, staged an agitation against the Sunburn Festival, which resulted in the cancellation of the Sunburn Festival.[3]
