The documentary is in the Malayalam language with a duration of 28.23 minutes'.[1][2][3][4] The documentary was released in 2008 and shot entirely on the Nokia N70 music edition Camera phone. It is considered to be the first Indian movie which was shot entirely on a cell phone camera.[5][6][7] Sathish Kalathil is the Writer and director of the movie.

Plot

The documentary narrates about world paintings and painters through a conversation with a painter, Sujith Aalungal and introduce his 'Veenaavaadanam' painting.[5][6]

Crew

The documentary was Produced by Kalathil Creative Heads and edited in S And S Media, Chennai by Vahid Kochukadavu and Sathish Kalathil. Music done by Babuji and lyric written by Sathish Kalathil, sung and narrated by Dr. B. Jayakrishnan.[8][9]

Releasing

Film director Ambili releases Veenavaadanam cd and film director T. K. Vasudevan receives the cd.

This film was exhibited in 16mm screen used with digital projector and the cd of the film was released by film director Ambili and received by film director T. K. Vasudevan on 20 July 2008 at Hotel Elite International, Thrissur. On 25 September 2008, the film was certified by Indian Central Board of Film Certification[1]. It was also telecast ed in T.C.V channel[2] On 5 June 2010.[5][6]
