Production
Produced by Geethalaaya Movies, Ilayaraja’s daughter Bhavatharini is composing the music after a long time. Bhavatharini has already composed music for a few films. She is now scoring the tunes for Vellachi, which will be directed by debut director Velu Viswanath. The shoot began in June 2012, and post-production work is under progress. The movie stars Pintu Pandu, son of comical actor Pandu. Suchitra Unni and Ganja Karuppu are the other leads in the movie. Cinematography is by Sai Natraj, while editing is by Hari Palanivel.
