Venjent

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Vincent "Vince" Welch, stage name Venjent, is a Drum and Bass ("DnB") musician from the United Kingdom known for incorporating mundane soundbites into his music. Welch first gained popularity on TikTok for his comedic editing and musical style. He has since gained over 2,000,000 combined followers on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram. Blending DnB with his own sense of humor, the project aims to give fans something "goofy and rough around the edges,"[1] said Welch in an interview with UKF record label. "It’s just me being myself times a hundred."

Welch is signed to Chilli Tribe records[2], sometimes collaborating with fellow member of Chilli Tribe, Oktae. The pair published a cover of the Evanescence song, Bring Me To Life, in 2024. Venjent plays the drums, guitar, and piano. [3] He has a history of playing in bands, and wrote the score to the 2020 horror film The Owners.
