Venom Computers is an Australian technology company based in Melbourne, Australia that designs[1] and manufactures computers for local and international markets.[2][3] The very first Venom Computers made were high end desktop computers specifically to target engineers and architects in the late 2000s. It was in 2012 when Venom Computers founded by Jaan Turon, released their first notebook, the Venom BlackBook.[4][5][6]
Venom Computers launched its own reseller program in March 2017[7][8] and signed onboard ASX listed Dicker Data as their authorized distributor in October 2017. Venom chief executive Jaan Turon said signing on Dicker Data was a continuation of the channel push, allowing them to service resellers in the best way.[3]
Venom continues to sell its award winning Venom BlackBooks directly to end users globally via shopvenom.com offering a unique trade in program that buys back all Venom BlackBooks for up to 7 years.[9]
As of 2021 the primary markets for Venom computers are the USA, Canada, UK, Germany, Austria and Australia.
The company’s products include the Venom BlackBook (laptop range), the Venom BlackBox (small form factor desktops) and the BlackStrike (mechanical keyboard).[10]
