Verity (voiced by JustWhispy) is a fictional character, from the Minecraft horror web series, Verity, created by YouTuber ThatMob.
Role in Verity
Verity is a male artificial intelligence, in the body of a small yellow sphere with a smiley face. Verity is also required to be stored and dragged around by other players in order to move.[1] He is also an assistant, as in the beginning of Something is Knocking at Your Door, when ThatMob notices Verity for the first time, as ThatMob opens the box, which Verity is located within, Verity greets ThatMob, and proclaims in which, he claims knowledge of everything possible, and that, he is ThatMob's "personal helper friend".
This also causes Verity, to be a murderer, as Verity uses the trust,[2] which he develops from his assistance, to manipulate the players, which he develops trust from, to then cause those players, to be murdered by Verity, in his antagonistic form. This is expandedly confirmed, in Something Won't Let You Leave, when ThatMob enters the Purple Room, which is located in the Laboratory, and as ThatMob switches on his flashlight, he notices a large wall, consisting of a list, of YouTubers, which became victims.[3]
