Vermicelle Poulet

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Vermicelle Poulet is a traditional dish from West African made with vermicelli pasta, chicken, and mixed vegetables. Popular in countries like Senegal, Guinea, Mali and Côte d'Ivoire.[1][2][3]

Prepare

Mix the vermicelli with two tablespoons of oil and place them in the top section of a couscoussier to steam for 10 minutes. After steaming, transfer the vermicelli to a large bowl, sprinkle lightly with a glass of water, and mix gently to moisten evenly. Add a little more oil, then return the vermicelli to the steamer and steam for another 5 minutes. Repeat this process a total of three times to achieve light, fluffy vermicelli.[2][1]
