Versal literary journal
Versal was an English-language literary magazine that published poetry, prose and art and closed down in 2019.[1] It was founded in 2002 by American poet Megan M. Garr (editor)[2] and was published by wordsinhere, a literary organization in Amsterdam, Netherlands.[3] In 2009, Poets & Writers magazine listed Versal as One of '22 lit mags that do more for your work.'[4]
The magazine published both new and established writers from around the world. Its editor Megan M. Garr discussed the connections between the magazine and translocality.[5][6][7] The magazine is archived at the National Library of the Netherlands (ISSN 1573-2207). The editor-in-chief was Megan M. Garr.
