Verso Dessendre
Verso Dessendre is a fictional character and one of the main three protagonists of the 2025 Role-Playing Game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. He is an immortal survivor of Expedition Zero, the first expedition that departed for the continent after the fracture split it from Lumiere. He aligns himself with Expedition 33 after the end of Act 1. He serves as the main protagonist of the titular Act 2. He was portrayed by Maxence Cazorla via motion-capture, and voice acted by Ben Starr.

Verso has received critical acclaim from critics for his moral ambiguity. Ben Starr’s performance was praised, and has received a Golden Joystick Award as Best Supporting Performer, as well as a nomination in the Game Awards.
