Vettrukkagidham is an upcoming Tamil Short Movie directed by Sukumar Sey, starring Saravanan VR and produced by Sey Pakangal. The movie is experimental, with no dialogue and runs in 2 different aspect ratios. The film won several awards in many International Film Festivals held in India, including Port Blair International Film Festival. The first look poster of the film is widely recognized, winning the Best Poster award in Port Blair International Film Festival. The festival run of the film carried the English title "Next Chapter".
The Short Film is about a nomadic writer who is always in search of the meaning of life. He wants to understand what lies behind the Great Beginning and beyond the Great End. He wants to read and enters a library only to find a mysterious book that takes him on a ride he would have never imagined.
