Victor Ofosu Biography

Victor Ofosu was born in May 1978. He is a businessman, a British author, and an independent researcher. Apart from his work campaigning for equality and justice, he is also recognised for his expertise in arms control, scientific research, geopolitical conflicts, and personal development. Victor Ofosu currently resides in the United Kingdom.

Early life and Education

Victor Ofosu graduated from King's College London, where he achieved his master’s degree (MA) in Arms Control and International Security. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics from London South Bank University. His academic background focuses on developing groundbreaking frameworks in systems development and international relations. His current research focuses on the application of Infrasound in winning wars.

Career

Victor Ofosu’s career spans political advocacy and events management. He has held a position in communication (public relations). He was elected Vice President at London South Bank University Students Union; the position was preceded by his role as the Student Union President. In 2010, he stood for election in Lewisham as a candidate for the local Liberal Democrat Party (Lewisham London Borough Council election - Wikipedia). Aside from this, he has successfully transitioned into a career as an author. His work includes analysis of international security issues in multi-dialogues in arms control. He is recognised in academia for his theory of Propaganda of the deed, which refutes the traditional definition and application of the term. In his current academic research, Victor has developed a new framework for deploying infrasound as a tool in strategic communication in military campaigns. Victor’s work also focuses on spirituality and individuals’ personal development. He is currently the CEO of Strategic Sustainable Development Limited www.ssd-limited.co.uk.

The Demise of Arms Control: Non-Compliance and the New World Order (2021, Academica Press, ISBN 978-1680539165)[1]]-Published Under the St. James Studies in World Affairs Series. This book provides a comprehensive analysis of the Six-Party Talks with North Korea. It applies Von Stein and Simmons' Model to examine constraining factors affecting the successful negotiation of nuclear reversal. The book investigates the effect of domestic and international pressures in determining treaty compliance within the context of historic treaties such as the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Force (INF) Treaty.

Rethink Yourself (2022, Resource Publications, ISBN 978-1666754858)[2] – this book is a shift from Victor Ofosu's geopolitical analysis and explores personal development in the individual. The book covers issues such as spirituality, truth and self-identity. Although the book consists of a collection of poems and statements, Victor Ofosu criticise the impact of greed, extreme self-interest, and modernity hindering the individual from achieving their purpose.
