The Viera High School Incident occurred on August 20, 2023, when several Viera High School students, led by Shane Staples, alleged they were harassed, assaulted, laughed, and cheered as players simulated Human sexual activity with each other in the locker room of the Viera High School in Viera, Florida.[1]
The viral video incident circulated online, with outrage coming from Brevard Public Schools which denounced the said incident.[2]

The 45-second video of the hazing incident, captured on camera, took place inside the player's locker of the Viera High School football team, where the students simulated sexual activities.[3]
The Viera High School Football season suspended.[4][5]The mother of the Viera High School football hazing victim speaks publicly about the incident.[6]The head coach, Shane Staples, was also suspended[7][8] but later fired while under investigation.[9]
