In October 2020, Vietnam Weilan Optical, the first overseas factory of Wenzhou Weilan Optical, began operations, fulfilling the procurement needs of the Vietnamese market. Even with the epidemic situation, the monthly production capacity of the factory was 80,000 pcs in 2021.

On October 14, 2020, the opening ceremony of Vietnam Weilan Optical Co., Ltd. (Công ty TNHH Optical Weilan Việt Nam) was held in Bac Ninh, Vietnam, marking the establishment of Weilan Optical's first overseas subsidiary factory. It is an important measure for Weilan Optical to expand production capacity and strengthen its business globally, and it is also an innovative breakthrough in line with the development of the times.

2022

At present, the main product of Vietnam Weilan Optical is acetate optical frames and their monthly production capacity can now reach 100,000 PCS per month. They plan to start the casting process of injection frames this August.
