Work - Glitch Art[edit]

Viktor Pátan is an experimental mixed-media artist best known for his glitch art.[3][1] His interest in glitch art began in 2006 when he discovered distinctive distorted images rendered by a broken digital camera.[4][1] The distinguishing feature of his art, is his use of a broken digital camera to render 'faulty' digital photographs on different materials.[4] He then partially overdraws them with various media. His art is a unique hybrid of distorted digital photographs and painting.[4][3][1] Viktor Patán's work has been displayed in solo and group gallery exhibitions in Germany, Poland, and France.[5][6][7][8][9]
