Vinayagapuram is a village in the Ampara District in the Eastern Province of Sri Lanka.[1]
Vinayagapuram divided into four divisions. Shaivism is the main religion.

TK/Vinayagapuram maha vidyalayam is a 1AB school in Vinayagapuram. Other schools include TK/Koraikalappu shakthi vidyalayam and TK/Parameshwara vidyalayam
Temples[edit]
Many Hindu temples are in Vinayagapuram. Vinayagapuram Shivan kovil, Siththy Vinayagar kovil, Muththumariyamman kovil, Kaali kovil and Vinayagapuram Mangaimariyamman kovil.
