Early Life and Career
Sutharshan Thissaweerasingham was born to a family of four, being the last child of the family, in Colombo with the guidance and inspiration of his father and his elder sisters and brother.
He is an Old boy of St. Peter College in Colombo 04, and school was his first platform where he had the opportunity to introduce himself as a creative thinker. In his seventeenth year, he began his career as a production assistant in Television Commercials, and it was a turning point in his life. He completed his higher studies in Automobile Engineering at City & Guild and chose his career in Media, Advertising, and Television.
Career
Vinon Sutharshan gained valuable experience and insights into the workings of the industry during his highly productive stints at British Council, Asia Broadcasting Corporation Pvt Ltd, ABC Radio Network Pvt Ltd, Guththila Strategic Solutions Pvt Ltd, and Haride Media Network Pvt Ltd.
He was the editor of පැණි මකුළුවෝ, Cyber Crime Movie in 2017 in Sri Lanka, and තුත්තිරි, Teledrama in 2018. He has also produced over 50 TV Commercials (Brands), around 10 Documentaries and profiles, one Sinhala film, and one Sinhala Teledrama.
